Locanda Ca ‘da Iride is a family-run guesthouse easily reached by car. It is located in the old village of Riomaggiore.
Our guesthouse is the perfect starting point for excursions in the Cinque Terre National Park area.
The interiors are elegantly, but simply, appointed. The fixtures and fittings meet the standards of environmental quality that are increasingly sought after by our guests.
All rooms have a terrace or garden, a private bathroom with shower, air conditioning/heating, a safe, LED TV etc.
The outdoor spaces are illuminated in the evening, with special low energy-consumption lighting, creating a warmly welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, amid the aromatic plants so typical of the Cinque Terre area.

Riomaggiore is the first small town you meet on the way from La Spezia.
The relaxing atmosphere of our guesthouse in Riomaggiore is quite unique.
The Marina and boat moorings are a stone’s throw away. At the railway station, nearby, there are two lifts for public use that provide access to all services and excursion itineraries.

The Via dell’Amore, the churches and the Castle
In the immediate vicinity we have the enchanting Via dell’Amore (the way of lone, or lovers’ lane) between Riomaggiore and Manarola. Unfortunately, it is still closed, although restoration should be completed in September. The truly unique views are infused with all the romance for which this path is renowned worldwide. In the village, you can also visit the church of St. John the Baptist (built in 1340 in a typically neo-Gothic style), as well as the fifteenth-century castle perched on the rise that separates the old Riomaggiore from the new. Magnificent views of the Castle are to be had from our premises.

Visitors arriving by car can book ahead for reserved parking until all available spaces are occupied. The guesthouse has its own private car park (payment required).

The guesthouse is in a ZTL (restricted traffic zone).
After booking, you will be contacted via email three days before your arrival for prior check-in. You will therefore have more time to devote to the local sights, villages and hamlets.
