Ca da Iride Inn is a family-run accommodation with six rooms, a “Cav” apartment called “Cà Marilù ” and four parking lots.
Located in Riomaggiore, in the Cinque Terre National Park in a quiet location overlooking the town, a 10-minute walk from the train station and “la marina” beach and 3 minutes from the historic center.
The property is located in a privileged, reserved, unique place, where you will find a relaxing atmosphere with the scent of saltiness not far from the beautiful terraced vineyards Unesco heritage site where man has shaped the territory over the centuries, resulting in a landscape made of history, culture and hard work lavished by the inhabitants of the Cinque Terre.
All six rooms and the Ca Marilù apartment have a terrace or garden equipped and organized with deck chairs and small table to eat or relax in a place away from noise, three out of six are sea-facing and have sea views, all have private bathrooms with comfort showers, air conditioning and heating, LED TV, safe, and are furnished in an essential way, designed to be comfortable and functional in their simplicity.
Particularly striking are the outdoor spaces that in the evening, illuminated with special low-energy lamps, create a warm and relaxing atmosphere among aromatic plants typical of the Cinque Terre.
Getting to Locanda Ca Da Iride is also very easy, in fact we have two parking just above the roof of one of the rooms, and two other private parking lots in the nearby silo, 50 meters away from the facility; if you travel by train, however, two public elevators will allow you to get to us without too much effort and at the same time be in contact with all the services and hiking routes.

You are immersed in the most typically rural scenery of the Cinque Terre: Riomaggiore is the first village that welcomes you arriving from the city of La Spezia.
Riomaggiore is lively during the day but also at night, it is the ideal village and starting point to spend a beautiful vacation and to visit the five villages of the Cinque Terre but not only, as from Riomaggiore in a day it is easy to visit Portovenere, Palmaria, Tino, and if you wish also Lerici and its villages, taking advantage of public services, private tours or scheduled boats.
What needs to be highlighted is that from Riomaggiore to Monterosso man has shaped the land over the centuries, resulting in the landscape we can all admire today, forging a hostile territory and making it unique in the world.
Cà da Iride is located in the village of riomaggiore in an area that was traditionally called Lavaccio (Lavaciu), a dominant and quiet area a few steps from the historic center and the sea.
From the inn begins the path that leads to the sanctuary of Montenero, from the ancient paved mule track that runs up the valley of the Rio Maggiore stream.
Ca da Iride is only a few minutes away from all services: to the Marina and boat moorings, to the train station, to the public elevators that allow people with physical problems to visit the town of Riomaggiore.

The Via dell’Amore, the churches and the castle
A stone’s throw from the Locanda is the enchanting Via dell’Amore, which connects Riomaggiore to Manarola and offers a unique view of the romance that has made this road famous throughout the world. The path was closed for 10 years after a landslide and was renovated and reopened on July 27, 2024.
In the village you can also visit the church of St. John the Baptist, built in 1340 and typically neo-Gothic in style, the 15th century castle perched on the buttress that separates the old Riomaggiore from the new: three rooms in our facility overlook the splendid view of the castle.
The facility complies with all anti covid 19 protection regulations and offers complete privacy between rooms that are truly independent and unique.
If you plan to reach Riomaggiore or the Cinque Terre by car, by booking in advance, you will have no problem with parking (subject to availability).
